CASE STUDY: BRIGHTON ART TRAIL SIGNAGE CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION
Digitelle Group was awarded the contract to create all the artwork and produce and install 96 steel fabricated signs along 15 kilometres of Melbourne's Bayside foreshore. Access was restricted due to the terrain of the area. Please take time to look at the process involved from start to finish...96, 9mm steel sheets were laser cut and welded to shape. Countless tonnes of earth and rubble were removed where necessary. Fresh earth and soil was brought in and applied by way of Bob Cats, Excavators and other earth moving equipment. Concrete saw cutting was needed as was a new sea wall that needed to be constructed to exacting standards. Site was then levelled and concrete pad footings constructed for each sign. Sign faces were printed and attached and the art trail was officially opened by the Mayor and the Minister for Tourism. 96 Signs in total were created and installed by Digitelle Group - all done UNDER BUDGET AND AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
